Sandra Nathans

Sandra Calvert Nathans is counsel at Schenck, Price, Smith, & King LLP, where she has been involved in a number of large environmental cases involving remediation at New Jersey sites. In addition, she has assisted individual clients with issues at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in order to complete remediations. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Nathans was associated with an insurance defense firm, concentrating her practice in the areas of insurance coverage and environmental liability and coverage litigation. Among the highlights of her professional affiliations was her role at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (“RIDEM”). She provided counsel to a variety of divisions within RIDEM and concentrated her practice in the areas of water quality and environmental policy, including freshwater wetlands, individual sewerage disposal systems, and water resources.
