Richard Scott

Richard Scott, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, is a senior forensic architect/vice president with Liberty Building Forensics Group. Mr. Scott has more than 35 years of architectural experience and has conducted IAQ, mold, moisture and forensic investigations in more than 300 hotels, resorts, office buildings, and other commercial, residential and institutional buildings. Registered as an architect in four states, he is a regular lecturer on the subject of why buildings have mold and moisture failures, and on how these failures can be prevented. Mr. Scott has written multiple technical articles and papers on moisture control, building envelopes, mold and IAQ, and he has presented for organizations including NCARB, AIA and ASHRAE.
