Forrest, Nathan
Mr. Forrest joined the CNCA in 2015 and serves as the technical director. Mr. Forrest’s function is to provide resources, recommendations, education, technical expertise, and other services to municipalities, engineers, project owners, developers, and contractors. His focus includes cement and concrete materials and applications for transportation, water conveyance, buildings, and other pieces of civil infrastructure.
Prior to his work with the CNCA, Mr. Forrest worked as a consulting materials engineer on numerous large Caltrans projects in Southern California, most recently on the Gerald Desmond Bridge replacement in Long Beach. Mr. Forrest graduated from The University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Nathan is a licensed civil engineer in the state of California and maintains industry certifications from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, The American Concrete Institute, The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, and others.
Outside of work, Mr. Forrest enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, camping, playing golf, and riding bicycles.
