Gene Myers

Mr. Myers is the founder of Denver-based Thrive Home Builders and is the chair and chief sustainability officer. With more than 30 years of high-performance homebuilding experience, Mr. Myers has led the way to Thrive winning an unprecedented 13 Grand Awards for Housing Innovation from the United States Department of Energy over 10 consecutive years. Additionally, Mr. Myers has also spearheaded the way for Thrive to become among the nation’s leading healthy home builders as evidenced by numerous EPA Indoor airPLUS Leader Awards and its designation as Leader of the Year in 2019. Other national accolades include the recognition of Thrive as Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine and National Housing Quality Bronze and Silver Awards. He recently received the EEBA Legend Award for his lifetime achievement and was named Sustainability Superhero by Green Builder magazine. Mr. Myers is proud of being among the nation’s best energy efficient home builders, and his current efforts include leading Thrive to carbon neutrality.
