Scott N. Mortimer Senior Project Manager, Aegis Environmental
Scott Mortimer has more than 25 years of experience in the environmental services industry in both private and federal markets. Responsibilities include project management, project QA/QC, compliance, and reporting, cost estimating, scheduling and planning. He has assisted clients in obtaining local land disturbance permits, construction general stormwater permits, and industrial stormwater general permits for numerous industry sectors including: power generation (solar, gas transmission, and coal combustion residuals); wood and timber products; concrete and gypsum products; chemical manufacturing; paper manufacturing; food and kindred products; and landfills. Through this permitting and compliance support, he has prepared countless Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and guided his clients through associated permit-required inspections, monitoring and reporting. His projects have ranged from disturbances of less than 1 acre for minor site/equipment modifications, to having site-wide E&S monitoring responsibilities for a 6,500 acre solar power project under construction. He has a working knowledge of Federal, applicable state, local, and DOT regulations concerning all aspects of project implementation, compliance, permitting, and disposal issues. He routinely conducts environmental compliance training through the various media: water, waste, oil, etc.
