Mr. Lieberman is a founding member of Lieberman Blecher & Sinkevich with over 30 years of environmental and land use legal experience. He was a former state Deputy Attorney General, who represented the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Mr. Lieberman regularly uses his regulatory experience in advising property owners, industrial operators, gas station owners, dry cleaner operators, and many other companies, individuals, and governments of their environmental compliance responsibilities and issues. He has represented developers and community organizations before planning and zoning boards throughout New Jersey. These cases have involved use variances, land use board approvals, storm water issues, septic design issues, cell tower cases and billboard cases. Mr. Lieberman has represented neighbors in noise, flooding, and odor disputes, and many oppositions to proposed warehouses throughout New Jersey. He served as the Vice Chair, and then as Chair of the Board of Consultors for the State Bar’s Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Section and is currently an active member of that organization. Mr. Lieberman serves on the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. He is also currently associate counsel for the Association of Planning Board and Zoning Boards of Adjustment. Mr. Lieberman is the Chair of the Princeton Flood & Storm Water Commission. He also serves as a Board Member of Sustainable Princeton, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
