Mr. Koonce is a Partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, and he specializes in intellectual property, media and technology, with two decades of experience analyzing the implications of emerging-and converging-technologies. His clients include both Fortune 500 companies and technology start-ups in industries including software, finance, consumer products, advertising, publishing, music, television/film, and fashion. Mr. Koonce leads DWT’s cross-disciplinary blockchain practice, and he is a member of the firm’s artificial intelligence group. He writes and speaks frequently on IP and technology issues, including blockchain technology, AI, and digital privacy. He is the founder of the Creative Blockchain blog, and is co-chair of the subcommittee on Intellectual Property and Privacy of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance’s Legal Industry Working Group, as well co-chair of the Law & Technology section of the New York County Lawyers Association.
