Ms. King has over 24 years of experience in architecture and urban planning. She specializes in leading the design of illustrative plans that promote walkability and sustainability, collaborating closely with the public. Ms. King excels in directing multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, business owners, and residents to transform visions into reality. Her portfolio spans downtown and corridor vision plans, comprehensive plans, form-based codes, and community development strategies. Ms. King has navigated both public and private sectors, discerning the nuanced needs of each and how they can work together. Her guidance enables communities to secure funding through grants and other funding streams. Ms. King received her bachelor of Architecture degree and her master’s degree of Architecture in Suburb and Town Design from the University of Miami. She is a certified Charrette planner and is CNU accredited.
