Karen Robbins

Ms. Robbins practices family law in Frederick and Montgomery Counties, Maryland. She is also an adjunct professor of law at the Francis King Carey School of Law and a member of The Collaborative Practice Training Institute, where she teaches collaborative practice. Ms. Robbins has been selected as a Super Lawyer every year since 2015. She is a member of the Military Law Committee of the Maryland State Bar and the Military Law Committee of the ABA Family Law Section. Ms. Robbins regularly presents and writes for the ABA on military family law issues. She produced and presented at the Military Divorce Symposium presented by the Family Law Section of the Bar Association for Frederick County, Maryland (2015). She is the past chair of the Family Law Section of the Bar Association of Montgomery County. Ms. Robbins is also a past co-chair of the Child Support Committee of the ABA Family Law Section, and she was a member of the ABA Family Law Section’s Continuing Education Committee. In her non-lawyer capacity, she is a family law facilitator at the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Ms. Robbins is also a court-appointed mediator and a parenting coordinator for both Montgomery and Frederick Counties.
