Ms. Jones specializes in insurance defense litigation and focuses on matters related to construction defect, premises liability, and auto-related claims primarily as well as domestic relations/family law. She graduated from Widener University School of Law, cum laude, in 1996 and began her legal career clerking for the Honorable Will J. Walls (Ret.) and the late William N. Nicholas in the Kent County Family Court in Dover, Delaware. Since that time she has spanned her 25-year legal career in general civil litigation, appearing in matters statewide in all Delaware Courts, including Delaware’s Court of Chancery and successfully arguing in the Delaware Supreme Court. Ms. Jones’ significant domestic relations practice garnered her peer recognition as a Delaware Today top family law lawyer for the years, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. She is a Delaware Superior Court and Delaware Family Court certified mediator, assisting in alternative dispute resolutions for parties seeking to avoid litigation.
