Joanne Olson

Joanne M. Olson is a deputy general counsel at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, where she concentrates on regulatory matters related to water pollution control and safe drinking water. She has been with the Agency since 2011. After graduating law school in 2007, Ms. Olson clerked for the Honorable Thomas M. Welch, Illinois Appellate Court, Fifth District, and the Honorable Nannette Baker, Eastern District of the Missouri Court of Appeals. Thereafter, Ms. Olson served as an assistant attorney general within the Office of the Illinois Attorney General from January 2010 to January 2011 within the Springfield General Law Bureau. She received a J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
