Water Resources Group Director with NV5Ms. Peterson has over 20 years of experience working in the civil and environmental engineering fields. She has been working at NV5 (previously Nolte Associates) since 2003 and currently manages the Water Resources group in the San Diego office. Her main areas of expertise include working with stormwater permits such as Phase I and Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permits, and the State’s General Construction Permit for Stormwater Discharges, in addition to performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support FEMA’s Floodplain Insurance Program. Ms. Peterson is a licensed civil engineer in the State of California, certified professional in erosion and sediment control (CPESC), a certified floodplain manager (CFM), and a qualified SWPPP developer (QSD). She also is an active member of the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) and currently serves as co-chair on the Training And CASQA Event committees.
