Kuhns, Jeff

Mr. Kuhns concentrates his practice in the areas of tax & business law, wills, trusts & estate planning, and probate & trust administration. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Charlotte County Bar Association and is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County Court Mediator. An Ohio native, Mr. Kuhns received bachelor degrees in both Business Administration and History from the University of Southern California in 2007, a Juris Doctorate from Whitter Law School in 2010 and a Masters of Laws degree in Taxation from Chapman University in 2013. In addition to Florida, he is also admitted to practice law in Minnesota and California.  He is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth District. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kuhns worked as a public history intern for a year and half for the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education, a non-profit organization committed to preservation of Holocaust testimonials and tolerance education. Mr. Kuhns enjoys teaching paralegal studies at Florida Southwestern State College as an adjunct professor, serves on the board of directors of Team Punta Gorda, and is a loyal USC Trojan fan and a licensed FAA private pilot.
