Jason Partain

Mr. Partain is a licensed professional engineer with 15 years of experience in structural engineering design and forensics for single and multi-family residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial structures. His experience includes projects in high wind regions along the Gulf Coast and East Coast, as well as high seismic zones along the New Madrid Fault Line. In addition, he has designed residential and community tornado storm shelters including the Habiframe, Inc., wood-framed shelter which was awarded the US Wood Design Awards Juror’s Choice Award in 2014. Mr. Partain is active in engineering standards work and has published articles in both regional and national publications. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Structural Engineers Association of Alabama and served as president for 2018. Mr. Partain earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and holds professional engineering licenses in multiple states.
