Mr. Southerland worked as a senior inspector (supervisor) withthe City of Houston from 1992 to 2008 and has been the ownerof A&D Inspections from 1991 to the present. He was a code instructor for Houston Community College from 2003 to 2008 and a building inspector for Patton Village, Texas in 2015. He is ICC certified in nine codes and is an ICC residential combination inspector, ICC commercial building inspector and an ICC certified accessibility inspector/plans examiner. Mr. Southerland is also international energy conservation code certified and an ICC certified accessibility inspector/plans examiner.
