Director of Sustainability for NORR

Mr. Jackson is an architect working at the nexus of sustainability, wellness, resiliency, and equity, who serves as the global Director of Sustainability for NORR. NORR is a +800-person integrated architecture, interior design, planning and engineering company, headquartered in Toronto, with 14 locations in the US, UK, UAE, and Canada – serving 12 major buildings sectors. He has 24 years’ experience in the AEC industry, holding a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Georgia and a Master of Architecture in Sustainable Environmental Design from the Architectural Association Graduate School in London, England. Mr. Jackson is a prolific author, speaker, and educator on topics affecting the built environment. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s Interior Design Program, and from 2016-2018, he was elected to the board of the Boston Society of Architects as their Vice President of Advocacy. In 2015, Mr. Jackson was recognized, nationally, by Building Design and Construction Magazine as a top “40 Under 40” AEC professional, in 2021, he was named a LEED Fellow by the US Green Building Council for his accomplishments in promoting “green” buildings, and in 2024 he was awarded the AIA Young Architects Award.
