Paul Iorio

Mr. Iorio is an engineer with StormTree, a Rhode Island-based design and engineering firm specializing in integrating plant systems with stormwater management for commercial and residential applications throughout the Northeast. Over the past 25 years, he has designed and implemented soil and water pollutant removal systems that incorporate principles of bioretention and “natural enhancement,” including biological (bioremediation) and plant-based (phytoremediation) techniques, to achieve cleanup goals and support low-impact development solutions.

Prior to joining StormTree, Mr. Iorio worked as an independent landscape design consultant and contractor. He holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in plant, soil, and water sciences, as well as environmental engineering.
