Ingui, Michael

Mr. Ingui Architecture is a collaborative architectural design firm with extensive experience in residential, institutional, and commercial projects. He and the firm have received various design awards and have been included in numerous publications including Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and most recently CNN. Ingui Architecture is a leader in the Passive House movement and almost all the firm’s architects are Certified Passive House Designers. The firm’s involvement in the early stages of the US Passive House movement has allowed for a clear vision of both the hurdles and the resulting opportunities associated with this emerging market. Mr. Ingui and the team at Ingui Architecture believe in openly sharing what they have learned to accelerate the growth of better building. As part of this effort, they have opened their homes during construction to student groups, other architects, tradespeople, homeowners, and developers. He has expanded this level of sharing by speaking at many national and international conferences, including Passive House Institute's 25th anniversary of Passive House in Darmstadt, Germany and most recently in China. One of the benefits of being a part of so many conferences is meeting incredible people who truly have solutions that are essential to the survival of our planet. In June of 2019, Passive House Accelerator was launched. Passive House Accelerator was created to make it easier to learn about Passive House; to support the community by allowing them to share ideas and solutions; to continue and expand on the incredible conversations and sessions at conferences; and to allow those who are succeeding in creating beautiful projects and/ or solutions to share their knowledge.
