Jeffrey Horton

Mr. Horton has been in the construction and contracting business since 1983. Having been working with designers and architects, he has developed many skills that helped him improve the process of working with construction projects, both residential and commercial. In the 90s, Mr. Horton’s company, Victorian Stove Installers, was installing 12 to 20 fireplaces a week. Having worked with all the major manufactures in the fireplace industry, he was able to provide feedback to the manufactures that helped them design units that were more user-friendly to the installation industries. In the late 90s when the building trades collapsed, Mr. Horton had to venture into the heavy commercial fireplace units like Montego and Stellar. These were very large and difficult to install and most installers stayed away from them. Their team contacted these manufacturers, got into training sessions, and became the foremost installation teams in the greater New Hampshire and Massachusetts areas. In 2012, Mr. Horton built from the ground up a new hearth shop called The Fire House Stove Shoppe in Epping, New Hampshire and in 2020, opened his second store in Ipswich, Massachusetts. They are now New England’s largest Vermont Castings Dealer and the nation’s largest retail outlets for Regency and Hampton hearth products. Mr. Horton currently employ 14 full-time employees.
