Michael Ginsberg CEM. LEED AP. PVIP

Michael Ginsberg is a sustainability professional with expertise in green buildings, solar PV, energy policy, and government relations. He is the vice president of Energy Transition at Bowman, leading the multi-disciplinary engineering firm’s work in renewable energy, microgrids and green hydrogen. Mr. Ginsberg is the author of two books on renewable energy and a Doctor of Engineering Science candidate at Columbia University, specializing in the techno-economics of solar energy grid integration and renewable hydrogen through PEM electrolysis. He is a LEED AP O+M, CEM, NABCEP PV installation professional, and holds an MS degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. Mr. Ginsberg brings particular competencies in carbon accounting, life cycle assessment, green buildings, and international development.

Through his firm, Mastering Green, he has advised the New York City Mayor’s Office of Sustainability and Long Term Planning and the UN Development Programme on climate change adaptation measures in NYC and West Africa. Mr. Ginsberg has managed government relations and business development efforts for government agencies, renewable energy firms, and non-profits, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Urban Green Energy, and World Learning.
