Fred DeLeon

Fred R. DeLeon, Jr., is principal in engineering and environmental services with ATC Group Services LLC. He attended the University of Illinois where he earned a B.S. degree in Geology in 1984. He later earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical and environmental engineering in 1989. After practicing as an environmental consultant for 10 years, Mr. DeLeon attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he earned his J.D. degree in 2001. While in law school, he was a Cordell Hull Teaching Fellow, a member of the National Moot Court Team, and was awarded the Hand Arendall Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award. Mr. DeLeon is also a member of The Order of Barristers. He was admitted to the Bar and licensed to practice law in 2001. As an attorney, Mr. DeLeon has practiced law focusing on toxic torts, environmental regulations, land issues, and construction. For the past five years, he has been focusing on providing tailored environmental and occupational regulatory counseling to numerous commercial and industrial clients. He still holds registrations as professional engineer in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas, as well as professional geologist in Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
