Ms. Fagan is an invaluable resource for the multifamily building industry. On a daily basis, she applies her detailed knowledge of federal and state accessibility standards to help promote more equitable living environments. She is an accessibility specialist with an interior design background and more than a decade of experience managing the Fair Housing Accessibility FIRST Design and Construction Resource Center sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Ms. Fagan has expertise in federal disability regulations, including accessibility and design compliance. Managing the day-to-day administration of the national Design and Construction Resource Center, she supervises full- and part-time staff to ensure expert services. She also consults with architectural specialists to provide analysis of plans to help determine compliance of complex accessibility related design issues in multifamily housing. Ms. Fagan conducts extensive research of other federal and state accessibility laws, regulations, standards, and case law.
