Gene Policastri

Mr. Policastri is a trial attorney with more than 37 years of experience handling commercial and construction disputes, including the defense of professional liability matters involving engineers and other design professionals. He regularly advises clients on insurance coverage issues related to professional liability. Mr. Policastri has represented parties in multi-million-dollar claims involving alleged design coordination failures, construction sequencing disputes, and performance standard disagreements, where liability turned on the project specifications and the allocation of responsibility under contract documents. He earned an LL.M. in Litigation Management, focusing on the trial and dispute resolution strategy in the management of complex multiparty litigation with catastrophic loss. Mr. Policastri is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Louisiana.
