Mr. Edelmann has nearly 40 years of experience in numerous fire protection arenas, including system design, full-scale fire testing, code consulting, computer fire and egress modeling, and serving as an Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) representative for local municipalities and Federal government agencies. Mr. Edelmann received a B.S. degree in Physics from Frostburg State University and a B.S. degree in Fire Protection Engineering from The University of Maryland. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states and is a certified fire protection specialist. Mr. Edelmann is most often performing design reviews and third-party test witness services for municipal and Federal authorities, code consulting to architects, contractors, government, and industrial clients, and designing fire suppression and alarm systems for government and commercial facilities, including office, hospital, residential, theme park, and K-12 and higher educational facilities. Mr. Edelmann is also conducting property condition assessments/due-diligence surveys of commercial office, industrial process, residential, and data center environments.
