Durhman, Angie
Combining an academic background in horticulture and working in the roofing and landscape construction industry, Ms. Durhman has over 20 years of green (vegetated) roof professional experience. She has worked on all aspects of the green/vegetated roofing industry: construction contracting, collaborating with the research community, improving corporate sales and images, and PR and marketing. Since 2002, she has created approximately 60 acres of vegetated roofing across the country. While many square feet are classified as extensive, Ms. Durhman has been involved in numerous signature projects categorized as native, semi-intensive, urban rooftop farms, slopes, and bio-solar roofs. She is uniquely qualified to establish maintenance programs called Greenformation and restore vegetated roof problems within the public and private markets. Ms. Durhman holds a masters degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University, where she studied green roof plant performance and environmental sustainability.
