Kevin Dietsche

Assistant Professor, Engineering and Technology Department University of Wisconsin-Stout Menomonie, WI

Dr. Dietsche is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout working in the engineering and technology department. He is a dual certified welder and teaches project-based coursework utilizing high impact practices (HIPS). Coursework of which have included welding, fluid power, mechatronics, design for industry, and product development. Serving degree programs such as engineering technology, technology education, business administration, packaging, and manufacturing engineering. Prior to teaching at UW-Stout he was a Technology Education instructor at Antigo Middle and High School in Eastern Wisconsin. Dr. Dietsche earned his Bachelor of Science degree in technology education (2011), his Master of Science in Career and Technical Education (2014) and his Doctor of Education degree in Career and Technical Education Leadership (2018). 
He has been blessed with a wife and five children who he enjoys spending his time with. Dr. Dietsche’s wife and kids live on a small-scale sheep and beef farm in Western Wisconsin where He is beginning to test for genomic-enhanced breeding values in his flock. Dr. Dietsche is an avid pheasant and whitetail deer hunter. He also enjoys working in his woodshop and teaching his kids, friends, and family members how to turn finials on his grandfather’s wood lathe when time allows.
