Principal and Founder of DAC AssociatesDarius Abolhassani has 35 years of experience in geotechnical and structural engineering. He has worked on some major transportation, ports, dams, treatment plants, parking structures, hospitals, and educational facility projects in California and across the world. He is the principal and founder of DAC Associates (since 1998), a consulting firm in San Rafael, California, that provides geotechnical, structural, and civil engineering services to the private and public sectors. DAC Associates has been involved in the engineering of residential and commercial buildings; landslide studies and stabilization; seismic hazard studies; and foundation investigation, design, repair and stabilization. Mr. Abolhassani earned his master of science degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Cardiff University in Wales, UK.
