Christopher Paolini

Sr. Vice-President of CME Associates, Inc., in East SyracuseMr. Paolini is a New York State and Massachusetts licensed engineer and is sr. vice president of CME Associates Inc. He received his B.S. degree in Environmental and Resource Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University, and he has a master’s degree in Professional Studies, also from SUNY ESF. In 2007 Mr. Paolini was promoted to vice-president of CME. In 2013, he was promoted to senior vice president where he provides engineering program management, technology training and market enhancement to CME’s five New York branch facilities. Mr. Paolini has been the geological engineer-of-record on more than 1,000 geotechnical engineering projects. When the New York State Building Code was updated in 2002, he became a leader in the industry relative to special inspections and began educating not only his staff, but also design professionals, owners and building code officials, and he continues to educate on updated versions of the New York State Building Code. Mr. Paolini has given more than 100 seminars on Chapters 17 and 18 of the New York State Building Code (2010), and he has provided several seminars on soil mechanics and geotechniques to the construction industry. Mr. Paolini is currently the president (chair) of American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) New York – Central Region. He is also an examiner for the American Concrete Institute.
