C. K. Satyapriya, M.S., P.E., is president and chairman of CTL Engineering Inc., a full service consulting engineering, testing, inspection, and analytical laboratory services company. He has been the project manager for several subsurface evaluation projects in excess of $1 million. He has conducted several investigations with respect to slope stability and developed a computer program to model transient groundwater levels along slopes. Mr. Satyapriya also facilitated subsurface investigations and provided site evaluations (inclusive of environmental impact statements) on several major projects; i.e., UPS and Nationwide. He is experienced in deep foundations, piling, nondestructive testing, structural evaluations and mining engineering. Responsibilities include estimating, contract negotiation, cost control and all facets of field activities. Mr. Satyapriya is a registered professional engineer in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Civil Engineers and a member and committee person in the American Society of Testing Materials. His publications include Stabilization of Black Cotton Soil with Lime and Rice Husk Ash, which he co-authored with Dr. B.K. Ramiah.
