Brian Friedlich

Kleinfelder

Mr. Friedlich has nearly ten years of private consulting experience in civil and environmental engineering disciplines. His expertise includes water resources, stormwater management, environmental permitting, stream restoration and wastewater treatment. He has worked on many residential, commercial and municipal projects that incorporate state-of-the-art stormwater facilities, such as bioretention facilities, constructed wetlands, wet ponds, infiltration basins, porous pavement, and vegetated filter strips. These designs often utilize distributed natural treatment processes that can be incorporated into an overall low-impact development (LID) site design. Mr. Friedlich has also developed and implemented watershed restoration plans that have received funding through the federal 319(h) program. The watershed restoration plans utilize both stormwater management and in-stream restoration techniques to improve the water quality of downstream surface waters. Mr. Friedlich is a professional engineer in the State of New Jersey, as well as a LEED Green Associate; he earned his B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Tufts University and his M.Eng. degree in Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Friedlich is currently a project manager at Kleinfelder.
