Mr. Searfoorce represents design professionals who provide services for the construction industry, including architects, engineers, land surveyors, and landscape architects. His cases involve a variety of construction projects, such as residential, commercial, public works, and mixed use. Mr. Searfoorce has also represented owners, developers, contractors, and subcontractors, and he understands their unique perspectives in the building process. He is active in the legal community as a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the Colorado Defense Lawyers’ Association. Mr. Searfoorce enjoys regularly speaking to design professionals on a host of loss-prevention topics. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and in 2015, he worked closely with ACEC of Colorado to draft and procure passage of House Bill 1197, which limits a designer’s indemnity obligations on public construction projects. Mr. Searfoorce received a B.A. degree from Temple University and a J. D. degree, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Pennsylvania, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and several U.S. District Courts.
