Erin Ervin Belt

Ms. Belt joined VDOT’s Environmental Division as the Decarbonization Program Manager in July 2022. In her role, she manages the deployment of EV charging stations across the Commonwealth through the NEVI Formula Program as well as VDOT’s Carbon Reduction Program. Prior to joining VDOT, she previously worked in construction stormwater for more than 17 years with Virginia DEQ, two Virginia localities and the State of Georgia. She completed her Bachelor’s degrees in Forestry & Wildlife Management and her Master’s degree in Wildlife Management and Ecology at the University of Georgia. Ms. Belt enjoys sustainable homesteading with her husband and cheering on the UGA Bulldawgs.
