Avetisyan, Hakob

Dr. Avetisyan is an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering with over 20 years of experience in related fields. His experience includes project management, infrastructure sustainability (construction, water supply, transportation, energy), greenhouse gas mitigation analysis, and civil systems engineering. Dr. Avetisyan also has experience in operations research and management science applications for sustainability in construction industry, the cement industry, and the energy industry (natural gas, biodiesel, hydrogen). He has also worked in transportation, environmental economics, policy-making and analyses for sustainable development, construction project management, environmental and energy policy, and more. Dr. Avetisyan has previously been an instructor at Irvine Institute of Technology and the University of Maryland, and he earned his Ph.D. in Project Management, Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland.
