Anthony Gangemi

Partner at Murtha Cullina LLP, in New Haven, CTA partner in the Business & Finance Department and chair of the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group at Murtha Cullina, Mr. Gangemi’s practice includes a wide array of clients – large and small academic institutions, established private businesses, and startups. His years of working as a consulting engineer gave him a business perspective on legal issues, which helps him understand the business objectives of companies and investors that consider IP a core business driver. His practice includes counseling on many aspects of IP, including IP licensing, portfolio development and management, IP commercialization, and due diligence relating to client sales and acquisitions. He counsels clients on these aspects in all areas of IP including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secrets matters. Mr. Gangemi received his B.S degree in Engineering and his M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He received his J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Franklin Pierce Law Center. He is a member of the CT Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
