Andrew Armstrong is the chief of the Springfield Environmental Bureau for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. He supervises the office’s environmental enforcement actions in central and southern Illinois. Prior to rejoining the office as bureau chief, he worked as an assistant attorney general in the Chicago Environmental Bureau and as an attorney for the not-for-profit Environmental Law and Policy Center in Chicago. Mr. Armstrong earned his law degree, cum laude, from the Northwestern University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
